More about Hyperthermia / Oncothermia

Background

Oncothermia and Hyperthermia: Oncothermia utilizes heat as a means of therapy, a fundamental practice that has been in use for centuries. Heat can cause considerable damage to living cells, hence the body can only survive for a short time in temperatures in excess of 42°C. However, the destructive force of heat, when applied skillfully, can help to treat cancer. Malignant tumors can be controlled or even recede as a result of targeted oncothermia.

Details

Full Body Hyperthermia systemically targets abnormal cells and pathogens by raising the temperature of the entire body. Patients enter an insulated chamber that uses radio frequencies to generate heat. The patient’s body is heated to 102º-104º Fahrenheit. The head area is kept outside the chamber, protecting it from the heat, and oxygen is delivered through a nasal cannula. The goal is to raise the oral temperature of the body to 101º-103º Fahrenheit for the greater part of a 45-minute cycle. Full Body Hyperthermia is painless and is performed every other day as part of our patients’ daily routine at Hope4Cancer. In combination with Local INDIBA Hyperthermia, this method effectively creates sustained hyperthermic conditions proven to destroy cancer cells. https://hope4cancer.com
